What to do if you miss a weekly feed application

While working my garden this year, most of the time, I've been able to follow
the Mittleider Method to the letter, with AMAZING results! But, sometimes
things happen. The following questions address these issues.

1. If you apply Pre-Plant & Weekly Feed to a bed and aren't able to plant,
should it be reapplied? And if so, how long should you wait b4 reapplying?

2. If you are late on Weekly Feed, say I fertilize every Sat but I forgot to
until Sun or Mon (or later), can I fertilize again the next Sat, or should I
shift my schedule to Sun or Mon?

Good questions.

The Pre-Plant Mix' main ingredient is calcium, which stays a long time in the
soil, unless you have lots of rain, which may leach it out over time. One
application of Pre-Plant Mix is good for an entire crop - even a long-season
crop like tomatoes or cucumbers (although late in the season you may experience
blossom-end rot on the fruit, and will want to apply calcium again. Therefore
as a general rule, you shouldn't need to re-apply Pre-Plant Mix when you plant
later than planned.

Weekly Feed might need to be re-applied if you don't lant within a month or so -
again especially if you have lots of rain, which can leach the volatile nitrogen
out of the soil.

If you miss your feeding day, feed as soon as possible, and if it's within a day
or two you can go back to the original schedule.
